Why SEM MBA?
The School of Economics and Management (SEM) MBA program began in 1996. In the same year, it was approved by the Ministry of Education to start a joint MBA program with Maastricht School of Management in Holland. In 1998, SEM was authorized to offer its own preliminary MBA program. In 2001, the program passed the national MBA education qualification evaluation hosted by the State Council, and was approved to offer official MBA program. In 2005, SEM won high assessment from national EMBA education qualification evaluation committee, and was authorized to start official EMBA program. SEM MBA at a Glance
The overall purpose of the program is to prepare participants to build, develop and lead organizations. To achieve this, the program provides a solid theoretical base combined with practical experience and skills training. After two years of extensive studies, participants will have a deeper understanding of business functions and increased confidence to take on additional responsibilities.

Program Content
The SEM MBA is delivered in executive format, with studies conducted on a part-time basis over two and half years (20 months for EMBA).
The MBA courses scheduled mainly on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays), with two additional hours in Tuesday or Thursday evenings. The EMBA courses are delivered three days a month (Friday to Sunday) on a consecutive 18-month basis, adding up to a total of 72 contact days.
